NEWPORT QUEENS

Let's start this email off with a funny story... We were greeting people before church started and I said hi and shook one of the Elders' friend's hands. That friend then proceeded to take my hand and KISSED it and then said, "your majesty!" Definitely the most interesting greeting I've had on the mission... Since it is a new transfer in a new area... here is the rundown on our awesome friends! VICTORIA: - Victoria is absolutely amazing! She recently moved to Newport and referred herself to the missionaries! She works in Healthcare so it can be difficult to meet with her, but Victoria got work off this week and we were able to meet with her 3 times!!! Victoria has the most amazing questions and she told us this week that she wants to be baptized! Let's go! SIJU: - Siju was also a self referral! We were able to meet with her for the first time this week and we introduced her to the Book of Mormon! Siju thought it was so amazing that there was another testament of Christ! Next time we meet, we will be teaching the whole family about the Restoration! Something that I also learned about Siju is that if you say "no thank you" to a drink, she will send you home with a million snacks haha! VENESSA: - We met Venessa last week while tracting! She recently moved to Newport from France! How cool is that?!? She is the sweetest thing ever! Venessa told us that she has been praying to know how to strengthen her faith and then we knocked on her door! We introduced her to the Book of Mormon and she wants to learn more! I'm excited to get to know Victoria, Siju, and Vanessa more and to introduce more people to the gospel while I'm here in Newport! Also! I finally went to my first castle!!!! 12/10 experience.   Hey Ya'll! My Pdays are now on Saturdays because I'm in the office! I'm also becoming quite the expert when it comes to the crutches haha! Monday & Tuesday: Last Days on the Island  - Had my last dinner with Dennis! He went all out! He made us steak and potatoes with a trifle! So good! We teach missionaries and ward members how to find and teach by using Facebook! So cool! I am learning so much from these Sisters! Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well! This week was awesome!!! I started driving here in England last week! It's definitely an adjustment to drive on the left side! But! I can say with confidence that I have seen the Lord's hand in my life everyday... cause there's no way I would still be alive without Him...haha! People here drive crazy! I still don't understand, but I'll get there!!! Sunday: EASTER! - I loved spending Easter as a missionary! Just having my whole life focused on Jesus Christ made it so amazing! I got to sing a musical number with Elder Little and Elder Jaccod while Sister Jorgensen played the piano and Elder Hansen played the cello! It was awesome! All the cute British grandmas were crying haha! - I got to reflect a lot on why I believe in Christ. YAY! I'M NOT A FAILURE!

Hey everyone! Guess what! I get to stay in the blessed land of Swindon for at least another 6 weeks! Woot woot! Tuesday: GOD & SCIENCE - We got to teach Jemima again and help her prep for her baptism! (Never had a baptism before... please send advice haha!) - We taught her about the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity with an amazing member, Emma! The lesson was so cool! When we were teaching Jemima everything, she was so on board! Jemima studied Biology and was telling us how all the principles about the WoW and the LoC was backed by science! And Emma also studied science and mental health so Jemima and Emma were just bouncing off of one another! It was so cool! Wednesday: PRIESTHOOD POWER - I had my theory (written) test for my UK drivers license this week and I was beyond nervous. This would be my 3rd time taking it (yes, I know 3rd time) and I really need to pass it. I had studied so hard and prayed for the last 2 times but failed by 1 question. Test taking has never been ...
