Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road!
Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well! This week was awesome!!!
I started driving here in England last week! It's definitely an adjustment to drive on the left side! But! I can say with confidence that I have seen the Lord's hand in my life everyday... cause there's no way I would still be alive without Him...haha! People here drive crazy! I still don't understand, but I'll get there!!!
Sunday: EASTER!
- I loved spending Easter as a missionary! Just having my whole life focused on Jesus Christ made it so amazing! I got to sing a musical number with Elder Little and Elder Jaccod while Sister Jorgensen played the piano and Elder Hansen played the cello! It was awesome! All the cute British grandmas were crying haha!
- I got to reflect a lot on why I believe in Christ. Lately a lot of people have been telling me that I don't believe in Jesus... even though I am a missionary for the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints... So I thought I would share my little testimony with ya'll of why I believe in Jesus Christ!
- I believe in Jesus Christ because I have felt His love! I know that He lives! Everything around us testifies of Christ because He created it. He created this beautiful world for us to learn and grow throughout our lives and to choose Him. Christ chose us! He chose to take on all of the sins and sorrows of every individual person because He loves each and every one of us! I do not only believe in Jesus Christ but I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and our Redeemer! I love Him and I know that He loves me!
Thursday: KIRA!
- I can't explain how much I love Kira! We had a really good lesson and a really good discussion! She is so committed and all she wants to do is align her will with God's! We read Alma 32 and it was so good! Kira told us that she wants to be baptized by the summer! I just love her so much!
- We also had a meeting with all of the mission leaders and that was so awesome! Sister Jorgensen and I gave a training on having a Christ centered Facebook presence and focusing outwards. It was awesome!
Saturday: AM I IN IDAHO OR ENGLAND?
- Today was Pday! We started it off by playing basketball for a couple of hours which is always a party! Then everyone in the office went on a hike! I loved it! It reminded me so much of home! So weird that there's just a forest in the middle of the city... but you do you England! We also went to the Clifton Suspension Bridge and that was so cool!
- I also tried beans on toast today for my dying companion... not a fan.
Hope you all have an amazing week! Love ya'll and Jesus loves you too!!!
