♡HOLY WEEK♡
Happy Easter everyone! Hope y'all had a great week!
Monday-Tuesday: TOKO
- We got to go on exchanges with the Newport sisters and spend pday with them! So yes that means another trip to Shawarma City!
- I got to go on exchanges with Sister Aluesi! She is from Tonga and we were in the MTC together! It was so much fun being able to spend the day with her and learn from her! It was also so cool because the Forest was Sister Aluesi's first area! I honestly just love Sister Aluesi so much!
- We got let in! This was the first time I have been let in while here in the Forest! This cute old couple let us in to share a message about Easter! They were both completely deaf and could not hear anything that we were saying haha! We were yelling the lesson basically haha! Reminded me of my first area with Dennis!
Sunday: EASTER
- I was praying to my Heavenly Father to make this Sunday a more sacred and special experience for Easter. He definitely answered my prayers! There were a lot of families visiting for Easter and one family sat in the front. In that family there was a little boy who had autism and was clapping and making a few noises. Immediately I just started crying! He was making almost the same noises that my brother Spencer would make! (For those who don't know, my brother has down syndrome and autism) This experience just brought me a lot of peace! Sometimes we mistake peace as "quiet", but for me, peace is comfort!
- My Heavenly Father knew how to make this Easter special by reminding me of my family and the power of the Resurrection! When we are all resurrected, this little boy, my brother, and all of us will have perfect bodies like Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father! Isn't it amazing that the first person my brother gets to speak to is his Savior? It makes me cry every time I think about it!
So a pretty good week with lots of prayers answered! Like seeing the sun for a whole day without rain on Saturday! Anyways! Love you all and miss you! And Jesus loves you too!
