WINTER WONDERLAND

It snowed here! In MARCH! AGAIN! How crazy is that? Merry Christmas I guess haha! It was so gorgeous seeing all the snow here in the Forest! Before I get into the week, I thought I would share something that I'm pretty proud of! At a DA a member asked if we would like to try a hot sauce. This was no regular hot sauce... this was PEPPER X hot sauce. Pepper X is the hottest pepper in the world. The member offered for us to try some. My comps said no and said that Elders are the only ones dumb enough to do that. I'm all about equality so I wanted to show them that there are dumb Sisters too. So I tried it. I didn't die, but it did feel like my tongue was being torn apart. So that was pretty cool! Tuesday: "I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I HAVE THAT" - Our friend Jon accepted the invitation to be baptized!!! He will be baptized on March 29th and confirmed on Easter Sunday! It was such a powerful lesson and we all felt the spirit so strong! Jon was so so happy!!! He is especially excited to have the Gift of the Holy Ghost! Let's go Jon! Wednesday-Friday: YATE IS GREAT - Got to go on exchanges with Sister Bouallagui in Yate! I love Sister Bouallagui! She is about the coolest person I have ever met! Sister Bouallagui is from Italy! We had a grind of an exchange with 5 hours of door knocking! We had the faith that someone would listen and... SO MANY DID! We had so many good conversations and a couple people now have a Book of Mormon and downloaded the app! It was so amazing! Faith+Action=MIRACLES - We almost got eaten. You know Dwayne the Rock Johnson? Picture him as a dog. That is what we ran into while tracting. Scared for my life. - Funny little question: How many times can Sister Parkinson try to kill Sister Hope with the car in a day? The answer is twice haha! I got hit by the car while she was backing up and then we ran a red light... It's all good laughs haha! What an adventure! Saturday: IFY'S BAPTISM - I got to go to Cheltenham for Ify's (a friend I taught) baptism! It was so wonderful! I'm so proud of Sister Weight and Sister Lagilagi! The spirit was just so strong and it moved me to tears! Ify is so happy! - I was asked to sing 'Peace in Christ' with the other Sisters and speak at the baptism! It was such a wonderful opportunity for me to reflect on the true peace that comes from our Savior and how great of a gift the Holy Ghost is! It is a gift that our Heavenly Father wants everyone to have and it is a gift that will not fade over time! I am just so grateful! Anyways! Love y'all so much and I know that Jesus loves you too!

Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well! This week was awesome!!! I started driving here in England last week! It's definitely an adjustment to drive on the left side! But! I can say with confidence that I have seen the Lord's hand in my life everyday... cause there's no way I would still be alive without Him...haha! People here drive crazy! I still don't understand, but I'll get there!!! Sunday: EASTER! - I loved spending Easter as a missionary! Just having my whole life focused on Jesus Christ made it so amazing! I got to sing a musical number with Elder Little and Elder Jaccod while Sister Jorgensen played the piano and Elder Hansen played the cello! It was awesome! All the cute British grandmas were crying haha! - I got to reflect a lot on why I believe in Christ. YAY! I'M NOT A FAILURE!

Hey everyone! Guess what! I get to stay in the blessed land of Swindon for at least another 6 weeks! Woot woot! Tuesday: GOD & SCIENCE - We got to teach Jemima again and help her prep for her baptism! (Never had a baptism before... please send advice haha!) - We taught her about the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity with an amazing member, Emma! The lesson was so cool! When we were teaching Jemima everything, she was so on board! Jemima studied Biology and was telling us how all the principles about the WoW and the LoC was backed by science! And Emma also studied science and mental health so Jemima and Emma were just bouncing off of one another! It was so cool! Wednesday: PRIESTHOOD POWER - I had my theory (written) test for my UK drivers license this week and I was beyond nervous. This would be my 3rd time taking it (yes, I know 3rd time) and I really need to pass it. I had studied so hard and prayed for the last 2 times but failed by 1 question. Test taking has never been ...
