MILK MACHINES AND MARK
Hey everyone! I thought I wouldn't have a story to tell this week... not anymore!
Saturday: THE MILK SHED
- So an Elder told us about these vending machines with fresh milk that England has randomly on country roads. It sounded pretty cool, so Sister Sanderson checked if there was one in our area... AND THERE WAS! Conveniently it was right by where we were tracting! It was seriously a shed in the middle of nowhere haha! It had two machines. The first one had fresh eggs, cheese, and milk bottles. So you get a milk bottle and take it to the other machine and it cleans the bottle. Then that machine is like a soda machine, but for milk! After you get your fresh milk you can get different syrups to make chocolate, honeycomb, blueberry, and strawberry milk! It was the coolest experience!
- We were about to leave, but then an old guy named Mark asked us for help because he forgot his glasses. So we helped him out and he noticed our accents! He asked us what we were doing in England and we told him that we were missionaries for our church! Mark thought that we were the coolest people ever haha! We then talked to him about what we do and then he told us all about his life! He got out his phone and probably showed us every picture haha! We did this all just standing in the rain! He wasn't interested, but it was definitely a tender mercy I needed this week!
SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK: Jarom 1:11
- Wherefore, the prophets, and the priests, and the teachers, did labor diligently, exhorting with all long-suffering the people to diligence; teaching the law of Moses, and the intent for which it was given; persuading them to look forward unto the Messiah, and believe in him to come as though he already was. And after this manner did they teach them.
And that's about all for this week! Love and miss you all! And Jesus loves you too!
