CHAV CHAPEL BREAK IN

This week is also full of interesting stories haha! I guess I'll never be bored here in the Forest! Top quotes this week: • Are you Charlie's Angels? -Richard • Sisters! Don't be afraid to get fat! -Filipinos • Are you the God Squad? Cause no thank you. -Random grandma Monday-Wednesday: LOVE YOU MANOK - I went on exchanges with Sister Cortez again! I love her so much! She is such a great example of positivity and energy! It was a party of an exchange! I got to learn some words in Tagalog! I now know how to say: Good Morning, Rooster, Chicken, Dog, Cow, Sheep, and Duck! Friday: RICHARD= COOLEST GUY EVER - Funny Story #1: We knocked on this one guy's door and little did we know that we were about to meet the coolest guy ever. Our bestie Richard! He first answered the door and said, "What do you want? Money? Food? Are you going to sing me a Christmas carol?" He was the funniest old English man I have ever met! We told him that we were missionaries and asked if he would be interested. He responded, "Nah. But I know what your Dads might be interested in..." he then opened up his garage and revealed two MGs from 1955! We ended up getting a house tour too! (Perks of being in a trio) We were also blessed to get a picture of Richard in his car when he was young and got him to sign the back haha! Coolest guy ever! Saturday Pt.1: CHAVS - Funny Story #2: We were having lunch at the chapel and Sister Parkinson heard something. We brushed it off cause all the doors were locked so no one else could be in the chapel. Then I heard the noise. I looked up and saw two chav (aka gangster) kids in the hallway! Now I know what y'all are thinking, "They are kids! It can't be that scary!" But these kids in this neighborhood... dodgy! They saw that I saw them and they darted to the door and ran away. We then tried to figure out how in the world they got in! Turns out that some windows were not closed all the way, so they crawled in through the window. Little stinkers. So that was an adventure! Saturday Pt.2: THE SPIRITUAL PART - We made some friends here in the Forest! They are so cool! The first one is Mike! He sent in a request to meet with us! Mike is trying to figure out what he believes in and he remembered this family who fostered him when he was younger, they were members of the church! So he looked up this church! He is so cool! - Next is Maddie! Maddie is friends with a member in the ward here and has been coming to church lately! Her friend told her what we do as missionaries and then she wanted to meet with us! Member work! Let's go! So we taught her at our Bishop's house and it was so amazing! We taught her about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon! We asked Maddie what she thought and she said, "Well if it goes along with the Old and New Testament, then it has to be true." Can I get an AMEN! Sunday: CHEEKY BOY - Our friends Maddie and Dave came to church! Let's go! - Funny Story #3: We got to go to the Filipino FHE! Man! It was so fun! But there was this one toddler that would not stop crawling all over us and sitting on our laps! (For those who don't know that's a big missionary no no) I did not know what to do! I have never had such a huge internal panic haha! I would look at the adults in the room and they would just say, "Oh sisters! He likes you guys!" Thankfully his parents came and got him off haha! Cheeky little guy. (Cheeky=flirty) Anyways. Very entertaining week! Love y'all and Jesus loves you too!
