KEEP SMILING AS YOU ROW ROW ROW YOUR BOAT

Well this week was quite entertaining... so let's get into it! Tuesday: YOU'RE INVITED TO MY BAPTISM BY IMMERSION - Ok! Really cool miracle happened! Remember that really cool friend Mattie from a couple of transfers ago? So he wanted to stop meeting with us because his friends sent him anti stuff about the church. That was a mega bummer. BUT! Last week he reached out to us and said that he wants to meet with us again! We gave him a tour of the chapel and had a super powerful lesson about Faith and Repentance! During the chapel tour Mattie said, "Hey, I just wanted to invite you to my baptism by immersion! I don't know when or where it will be and I know that you are all busy, but I thought I should invite you because we are close friends already!" And all I said back was, "We do that here! We help people prepare to make promises with God through baptism and continue on that path!" Then Mattie said, "Well maybe I'll do it here!" So that was pretty cool haha! Thursday: AMEN PRESIDENT - We got to go down to Bristol for interviews! Got to see a lot of missionaries that I love so much! And did I bring everyone in the zone some Tres Leches? Oh heck yeah. When I get stressed or anxious I tend to make food. I guess I was really stressed and anxious this week because I ended up making 4 Tres Leches cakes. But I'm all good now! It made me feel a lot better haha! - This interview was probably the best interview I've had in my whole mission! I tried to really prepare for it! President gave great advice! "Boldness is speaking with clarity, not force. If we are not clear, accountability is not available." AMEN! Friday: YATE IS GREAT - I had my first exchange as an STL! I went to Yate with Sister McClure! She is awesome! Sister McClure has been on her mission for 3 months and is from Arizona! The exchange was a party and a half! Never met someone who could do a Barbie impression so well haha! - Fun Fact: If Facebook asks you if you are safe because of a flooding near you... do not answer it! Facebook will post it to your feed, telling the whole world that 'Natalie Hope marked herself safe during The Flooding in Gloucester, England' This led to some good laughs and comments from the Senior couples haha! "So happy you’re safe - keep smiling as you row row row your boat lol" Sunday: FLOOD THE CHAPEL LIKE IT'S FLOODING HERE - Guess what! We had the most friends at church that I've ever had my whole mission!!! Let's gooooo!!! Our friend Joel came to church again and he loved learning about the Book of Mormon through the Come Follow Me program! He said that it was perfect for him! Ify, his wife Blessing, and Excel came to church as well! Excel loved the youth class and at the end she said, "Nice church!" With a cute little wink! Ah! I love them! So yeah! Pretty great week!   Hey Ya'll! My Pdays are now on Saturdays because I'm in the office! I'm also becoming quite the expert when it comes to the crutches haha! Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well! This week was awesome!!! I started driving here in England last week! It's definitely an adjustment to drive on the left side! But! I can say with confidence that I have seen the Lord's hand in my life everyday... cause there's no way I would still be alive without Him...haha! People here drive crazy! I still don't understand, but I'll get there!!! Sunday: EASTER! - I loved spending Easter as a missionary! Just having my whole life focused on Jesus Christ made it so amazing! I got to sing a musical number with Elder Little and Elder Jaccod while Sister Jorgensen played the piano and Elder Hansen played the cello! It was awesome! All the cute British grandmas were crying haha! - I got to reflect a lot on why I believe in Christ. Lately a lot of people have been telling me that I don't believe in Jesus... even though I am a missionary for the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints... So I thought I would share my ...

YAY! I'M NOT A FAILURE!

Hey everyone! Guess what! I get to stay in the blessed land of Swindon for at least another 6 weeks! Woot woot! Tuesday: GOD & SCIENCE - We got to teach Jemima again and help her prep for her baptism! (Never had a baptism before... please send advice haha!) - We taught her about the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity with an amazing member, Emma! The lesson was so cool! When we were teaching Jemima everything, she was so on board! Jemima studied Biology and was telling us how all the principles about the WoW and the LoC was backed by science! And Emma also studied science and mental health so Jemima and Emma were just bouncing off of one another! It was so cool! Wednesday: PRIESTHOOD POWER - I had my theory (written) test for my UK drivers license this week and I was beyond nervous. This would be my 3rd time taking it (yes, I know 3rd time) and I really need to pass it. I had studied so hard and prayed for the last 2 times but failed by 1 question. Test taking has never been ...
