WEEKS BE FLYING LIKE SANTA'S REINDEER

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Being a missionary + Christmas = AWESOME. Again another amazing week of miracles has come and gone! It's just a bit too fast for me! Tuesday: BABY POWDER? - Had flat checks this week, so got to see a cute senior couple in our mission! The cute sister usually brings a treat, and this time was no different! They brought us Toblerones! Also got something that I would never expect to get as a missionary... Baby powder haha! Not sure what I'm supposed to do with that... if any of yall have any ideas... email them over! - We had an awesome/interesting lesson with our friend Godwin! It started out perfectly! We planned on doing a Book of Mormon read with him about Jesus Christ visiting the America's (3 Nephi 11- amazing chapter). The first question Godwin asked us was, "So you believe that Christ came to the America's?" BAM! The Holy Ghost is too good! We read the first part of 3 Nephi 11 and Godwin made a really good connection with the bible! He is very knowledgeable in his scriptures! Then... he got a little side tracked... Somehow (I am still trying to figure it out) we ended up on the topic of praying in tongues. Yeah idk. It was an interesting conversation. But! In the end we asked Godwin if he believed that Christ went to the America's and he said, "Of course! Why wouldn't He?" Wednesday: YES! AVOCADO MILKSHAKES - We had exchanges this week and I got to stay in Cheltenham with Sister Eusebio! I got to see Sister Olander! And Sister Cortez! So y'all already know it was a good day. This was my 3rd exchange with Sister Eusebio! I love her so much! We had such an amazing day and yes! We had avocado milkshakes! - Guess what! We are teaching another family! Our friend Esther had her daughters join us this time! It was so sweet! Also taught her about the Plan of Salvation! Esther has the most beautiful insights and questions that just lets the Spirit guide the lesson! It is so awesome! Saturday: LET THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDE - We got to teach Ify again! And we met his wife and we will be teaching her too! Let's go!!! We went over the Restoration with him and it was so good! He is so excited to keep learning with his family! Ify is so genuine with his questions and I love teaching him! We mainly talked about God's timing. Like why did the Book of Mormon have to wait until Joseph Smith? Ify had really amazing questions that filled the room with the Spirit! And Sister Weight said the First Vision part for the first time in a lesson! #ProudMomMoment Funny Story of the Week: - Remember how we had flat checks? We had to test the fire alarm and so we did. It worked all good! Then it would not stop going off. It was getting so annoying so I tried to check the batteries. I was unsuccessful. I had a 45 minute fight with that thing and somehow pulled it off the ceiling! We called our housing coordinator and I guess it was dying... but we got permission to get rid of it! Eventually I just got so frustrated with it that I ended up punching it... then it stopped! In conclusion, if you want something to shut up... punch it. Overall we had so many Spirit led lessons with our friends! We also taught Bailey and Blessmore this week! I just love this opportunity to share something that I love so much! Everyday I see more and more Christmas! In the decorations and in the kindness of the people! Love you guys so much and Jesus loves you too!

  Hey Ya'll! My Pdays are now on Saturdays because I'm in the office! I'm also becoming quite the expert when it comes to the crutches haha! We teach missionaries and ward members how to find and teach by using Facebook! So cool! I am learning so much from these Sisters! Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well! This week was awesome!!! I started driving here in England last week! It's definitely an adjustment to drive on the left side! But! I can say with confidence that I have seen the Lord's hand in my life everyday... cause there's no way I would still be alive without Him...haha! People here drive crazy! I still don't understand, but I'll get there!!! Sunday: EASTER! - I loved spending Easter as a missionary! Just having my whole life focused on Jesus Christ made it so amazing! I got to sing a musical number with Elder Little and Elder Jaccod while Sister Jorgensen played the piano and Elder Hansen played the cello! It was awesome! All the cute British grandmas were crying haha! - I got to reflect a lot on why I believe in Christ. Lately a lot of people have been telling me that I don't believe in Jesus... even though I am a missionary for the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints... So I thought I would share my ...

YAY! I'M NOT A FAILURE!

Hey everyone! Guess what! I get to stay in the blessed land of Swindon for at least another 6 weeks! Woot woot! Tuesday: GOD & SCIENCE - We got to teach Jemima again and help her prep for her baptism! (Never had a baptism before... please send advice haha!) - We taught her about the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity with an amazing member, Emma! The lesson was so cool! When we were teaching Jemima everything, she was so on board! Jemima studied Biology and was telling us how all the principles about the WoW and the LoC was backed by science! And Emma also studied science and mental health so Jemima and Emma were just bouncing off of one another! It was so cool! Wednesday: PRIESTHOOD POWER - I had my theory (written) test for my UK drivers license this week and I was beyond nervous. This would be my 3rd time taking it (yes, I know 3rd time) and I really need to pass it. I had studied so hard and prayed for the last 2 times but failed by 1 question. Test taking has never been ...
