BELLE OF THE MEDIEVAL CHRISTMAS BALL

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Can't believe that it is already December! This week went by crazy fast! Get ready to hear some CHRISTMAS MIRACLES! Tuesday: A DAY FOR CHRISTMAS MIRACLES! - We got to go down to Bristol for interviews! My favorite day of the transfer! Getting there was quite the adventure! Have you ever had to stand and test your balance on a zooming, windy train for an hour? Now I have! Surprisingly I did not fall! Not even once! (Almost did... a couple times... but we don't need to talk about that) What a Christmas miracle! - Another Christmas miracle is that we got a couple of amazing referrals while on the train! I'll talk about them later! - Interviews and district council were so good and very much needed! Lately I have been struggling with comparing myself to my own expectations for myself. I never told anyone this, but obviously God knew what I needed to hear! What President and Sister Gallacher said during my interviews and the training given at DC was definitely an answer to my prayers and made me feel so seen by my Heavenly Father! Isn't God so cool? Another Christmas miracle in my book! Wednesday: MORE CHRISTMAS MIRACLES! - So Sister Weight and I decided to knock on some doors and stop by someone who we haven't been able to get a hold of. Also lately I have been praying for unplanned acts of service! Let me tell ya. We met some of the kindest people ever! The most uplifting discussions I've had in a while! - We got off the bus with an older lady and she was struggling with her walker and balancing her shopping bags. We offered to help and she accepted! (After lots of asking, haha!) She was so sweet and loved getting to know us! She then gave us her number and asked us to call and come over after Christmas for lunch! - We have an awesome new friend named Vladimir! One of the referrals we got this week! He is so cool! Because of one of his coworkers he started praying and believing in God! Then he saw an ad on Facebook to meet with missionaries! We texted Vladimir and set up an appointment right away! We had a lesson and he is so excited to learn about God and Jesus Christ! One of my favorite things he said was, "It's my 11th day believing In God and I'm so much happier!" Thursday: MET MY FAIRY-GODMOTHER - Have you ever had someone make you a dress while out on your mission? Well now I have! We had our ward Christmas party this weekend and it was medieval themed! A cute older member asked us what we were going to wear. (Umm let me just pull out my medieval ball gown from my suitcase haha!) We told her that we didn't have anything and she said, "Well that is just unacceptable. You two are coming over to my house and I'll make you a dress." And we did just that! Honestly felt like Cinderella with her fairy-godmother haha! I LOVE THE MEMBERS HERE! - We had an awesome lesson with one of our referrals from the train, Blessmore! Some other missionaries sent us Blessmore's number because Blessmore moved. The other missionaries thought it was a lady... turns out that he is a dude... But! It was such an amazing lesson and Blessmore is so ready for the gospel! Saturday: MEDIEVAL CHRISTMAS BANQUET - Sister Weight and I pulled up in our beautiful medieval dresses to our ward's party! And let me tell ya. The English know how to party! There was a hog roast, jousting, dancing, singing, a jester, and everyone in their awesome medieval costumes! There was even a King and Queen! I love this ward so much! That was this amazing week! Love y'all and Jesus loves you too!

  Hey Ya'll! My Pdays are now on Saturdays because I'm in the office! I'm also becoming quite the expert when it comes to the crutches haha! Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well! This week was awesome!!! I started driving here in England last week! It's definitely an adjustment to drive on the left side! But! I can say with confidence that I have seen the Lord's hand in my life everyday... cause there's no way I would still be alive without Him...haha! People here drive crazy! I still don't understand, but I'll get there!!! Sunday: EASTER! - I loved spending Easter as a missionary! Just having my whole life focused on Jesus Christ made it so amazing! I got to sing a musical number with Elder Little and Elder Jaccod while Sister Jorgensen played the piano and Elder Hansen played the cello! It was awesome! All the cute British grandmas were crying haha! - I got to reflect a lot on why I believe in Christ. Lately a lot of people have been telling me that I don't believe in Jesus... even though I am a missionary for the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints... So I thought I would share my ...

YAY! I'M NOT A FAILURE!

Hey everyone! Guess what! I get to stay in the blessed land of Swindon for at least another 6 weeks! Woot woot! Tuesday: GOD & SCIENCE - We got to teach Jemima again and help her prep for her baptism! (Never had a baptism before... please send advice haha!) - We taught her about the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity with an amazing member, Emma! The lesson was so cool! When we were teaching Jemima everything, she was so on board! Jemima studied Biology and was telling us how all the principles about the WoW and the LoC was backed by science! And Emma also studied science and mental health so Jemima and Emma were just bouncing off of one another! It was so cool! Wednesday: PRIESTHOOD POWER - I had my theory (written) test for my UK drivers license this week and I was beyond nervous. This would be my 3rd time taking it (yes, I know 3rd time) and I really need to pass it. I had studied so hard and prayed for the last 2 times but failed by 1 question. Test taking has never been ...
