MIRACLE MADNESS

Wow. This week has flown by! And when I say that this is the land of miracles... I MEAN IT! HOLY COW! Cheltenham has been popping off! Let's get into it! Last transfer they made 3 friends. We wanted to stretch the area so we set the goal of making 5 friends this transfer. Y'all. WE MADE 5 FRIENDS THIS WEEK! Idk what happened, but God really put these people in our path! Isn't He so cool?!?! Our new friends: FELIX, RAIANE, & FREYA: - On Tuesday we were knocking on some doors after doing a service. I knew we needed to knock on this street, but idk why. The last door we knocked on a young dad opened the door. He was super friendly and wanted to hear a message, but he had to go pick up his kids from school. So he asked if we could come back tomorrow and of course we said yes! His name is Felix. - The next day we go back... 1st knock... no answer... 2nd knock... no answer. Usually I would have left, but I knew that we needed to stay. We did one last knock... and Felix answered! He apologized and said that he was unpacking. He invited us in and we were able to meet his wife, Raiane, and his daughter, Freya! They even fed us haha! - Raiane was so excited to meet us! She is from Brazil and always loved the missionaries there! She had been wanting more of God in her home for her kids, but didn't know what to do. So she was really happy to have us in her home! We were able to set expectations of what we do and why and taught the beginning of the Restoration. They loved it and they want the whole family to hear it! So we are going back this week to teach Felix, Raiane, Freya, and their 2 other kids! - The craziest part of this whole thing is that they had just moved into that house from London 5 days before we knocked on the door! They had been praying about where to go to church too! God is not a God of coincidences! He has a plan and He guided us to this amazing family! I'm so excited to teach this family! REHANA: - Rehana just moved to the UK from India (I think) and she had been wanting to learn more about Jesus Christ! So she signed up to do Bible studies with us! She is so sweet and we will be meeting with her more! - We offered to teach her about the Restoration, God's Plan of Salvation, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ and she said yes! - Rehana has also been looking for a family centered church to go to with her family! So she will be joining us for church next week! PETER: - Peter sent in a request to learn more about the Book of Mormon! So he found us! We messaged him and he got back to us right away! He had been looking into our church for a bit (thankfully from the church website) and had even watched the Restoration movie! He wants to read the whole Book of Mormon! - We were going to meet him in person this week, but he got sick... so we did a video call! We had a member and it went so good! We are going to be meeting with him this week! - Peter watched General Conference too! He really liked it! And he's been asking questions about God's plan! So we will be talking about that with him this week! Let's go!!! GENERAL CONFERENCE: - This weekend we had General Conference! Don't even get me started about how much I LOVED IT! I had been saying a couple of prayers and I knew that God would answer my questions through General Conference. And He did! - I have too many quotes and talks to choose from... but! Here are a few! - "THINK CELESTIAL!"- President Nelson - "Truth is critical for us to establish and strengthen our relationship with God." - Elder Pingree - "Jesus Christ came to lift us." - Sister Freeman - And I have about a million more... GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS SO GOOD! Is Cheltenham the land of miracles or what?!?! I love this place! The ward is amazing too! Also! Sister Lacour is super freaky talented! I love her! We are writing a song together and it has been so much fun! Love you and remember Jesus loves you too!
