BUS BLESSINGS
Hello everyone! Another week has passed! Crazy! Now let's get into it!
Monday: NANDOED
- Finally got to try the famous restaurant: Nandos! 10/10. Not really sure what kind of restaurant it is... but really good chicken! Every missionary talks about how good Nandos is, and after 8 months I realized it was definitely worth the wait!
Wednesday: RACHEL
- We got to meet with Rachel this week and finish teaching her about the Plan of Salvation! Of course Rachel was being Rachel and blew us away with what she has been reading and feeling because of the Book of Mormon! She is so committed! Love her!
Thursday: ANGELS ON BUSSES
- The Elders needed the car for the day so we had to take the bus so we could go give someone a bible. Idk why Google maps did this but somehow we got on the right bus... but it was going in the wrong direction... so a kind lady helped us and we got off. Sister Boamah and I were trying to figure out everything and an older lady was also at the bus stop. She said, "Are you two ladies lost? Oh wait! I know you! You two knocked on my door!" Turns out that we had tracted her street a week or so ago! We talked for a bit about what we were doing right then and what we do as missionaries! Then she did about the kindest thing I have experienced on my mission! Our bus passes don't work for every bus and our next bus would have been in 45 minutes, making us late. But her bus was coming in 5 minutes... and she paid for our bus pass! She was just the sweetest thing ever! She was definitely an angel and a miracle!
Sunday: ROSEMOND AND JEMIMA
- Our friend Rosemond came to church for the first time! Her work schedule is crazy, so we have only been teaching her through video chat. It was so good meeting her in person! She is so sweet! And Jemima was helping us out by showing her around and making her feel welcomed! Rosemond loved church and of course the ward was amazing and welcomed her right away!
- We got to teach our golden girl and she is so excited for her baptism next week! The ward is very excited too! Jemima just leaves us in total awe of how prepared she is! Let's go Jemima!
Love you all and hope you have a fantastic week! Please keep Jemima in your prayers this week! And remember that Jesus loves you too!
