Kill Count...2

Hey Ya'll! My companion kill count is now at 2😭 Sister Jorgensen completed her mission and went home last Thursday! I will forever be grateful for this past transfer and how much I learned from Sister Jorgensen! She is one of my favorite people I have ever met! Love ya Jorgy! Also apologies for the long email in advance... got to make up for 2 weeks... Tuesday (5/16)- NEW MISSIONARIES - The new missionaries came in and we got to take them out street contacting! Holy. Cow. They are absolutely amazing! I took Sister Sylvester out and she is such a powerhouse! We had a feeling to go and talk to this lady sitting by herself. Right away she was so willing to talk to us. She told us that we were an answer to her prayers and started just bawling when we shared our testimonies about the gospel... I teared up too... we gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon! She wanted to pay us for it because it is so important, but of course we wouldn't let her haha! It was so cool! Wednesday (5/17): AUSSIE TRANSFER! - This transfer has been so good so far!!! I am in the office now with Sister Masima! She is absolutely amazing! She is from Australia! (My first comp not from Utah haha) She is such a hard worker, just so kind and so funny! I'm so excited and so grateful to be her companion! She's also one of the wisest people I've ever met! Thursday (5/18): GROCERY THIEF - So the first day of the transfer did not go as smooth as planned... Sister Masima and I ordered some groceries to pick up but no one was there to give them to us... so we decided to leave. Later that night we got an email saying someone had picked up our groceries before we got there... SOMEONE STOLE OUR GROCERIES!!! Don't worry, we got refunded haha! - A guy at the grocery store started yelling at us saying that we hit his "premium paint, limited edition" car that "they don't make anymore"... We were so confused because there was nothing wrong with the car... and the fact that we didn't hit his car... We exchanged numbers cause I had no idea what else to do. He pointed at his door in frustration saying that we scratched his car... IT WAS BIRD POOP. BIRD. POOP. I'm just grateful that the whole situation calmed down haha! Saturday & Sunday: "YOU ARE HAVING FUN!" - As a social media team we got to go give devotionals to the youth of the Plymouth and Cardiff stakes about how to use technology! It was so much fun! It was so cool! Man, I love the youth! - During one of the devotionals, the kids looked like they wanted to die... so I turned on my coaching voice... "EVERYONE STAND UP! SPIN AROUND! THIS. IS. FUN. YOU ARE HAVING FUN!" It worked! They thought it was pretty funny haha! Tuesday: KEITH - Sister Masima and I got a call from someone that Sister Jorgensen and I tracted! His name is Keith and he is such a sweet old man! We were able to teach him the Plan of Salvation! And he's also planning on coming to church! Wednesday: BETTY - So the other Sister's car broke down and we went to go and help them out! When we were walking to their car, Sister Masima started talking to this sweet old lady named Betty! We got to talking and she said that she would like to come to church with us! Betty also really liked my trousers (pants) and now we are planning on getting matching outfits from Tesco (Walmart) haha! We wouldn't have met her if the Sister's car didn't break down! God works in mysterious ways! Thursday: BLESSING(s) - Sister Masima and I put up some free Bible ads on Facebook marketplace and someone named Blessing messaged us! He just moved to Bristol and has been looking for a church! We got to teach him over the phone and it was awesome! Blessing is literally the definition of his name! He was planning on coming to church with us this Sunday, but then we realized that he doesn't live in our area! So now he is being taught by the Elders on the other side of Bristol! Let's go Blessing! Friday: J. O. Y. - I gave a training in district council this week on deepening our prayers, so I thought I should share a bit with ya'll! When we pray we need to focus on J.O.Y.! JESUS. OTHERS. YOU. When we focus our lives on J.O.Y. then we can find that true eternal happiness! The same thing applies when we pray! I love ya'll so much and Jesus loves you too!
