Voted Off The Island...

This week was definitely an emotional and physical roller coaster haha! Get ready...

Tuesday: Valentine's Day...
- Went to the mainland for a doctor's appointment for my knee. They said that nothing was wrong with it, but since it was a private clinic they had to give us a referral for an x-ray.
- One of my favorite ward members, Lis, got super sick last week. Lis is the happiest lady and shines everywhere she goes! She had purple hair and was always wearing bright colors! Lis would make us dinner and drive us places all the time! She always took care of the missionaries! Sadly, on Tuesday morning Lis passed away. This was very heartbreaking to the ward and all of the sisters who have served on the island. I am so grateful for the Plan of Salvation! Because of this, we can all be with our loved ones again!

Thursday: 1st Zone Conference!
-Oh my goodness zone conference was amazing!! I got to see some of my favorite people! Sister Evans and Elder Smith from my MTC district!!!
- We were fortunate to hear from an area seventy, Elder Boom. He is so cool! I loved his devotional! Elder Boom talked about:
•Finding power in your time and respecting that time.
•The promised land is where YOU are!
•LET Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ help you!
•Your faith will carry you!
The Gospel is simple, so answer simply.
- I was able to get an x-ray! I took a picture of it and sent it to my medical coordinator, Sister Wallace= the G.O.A.T.

Friday: I'm not coordinated enough for crutches...
- On the way home we had to take this big carpet cleaner... if you thought people looked at missionaries weird before... just wait until you have a backpack, suitcase, hair dryer, and a carpet cleaner...
- Sister Wallace got back to me with my results... she had sent my x-ray to the medical coordinator who is over all of the England missions, he is also a radiologist... so that was a miracle! I have a chip fracture in my knee... so I am currently on crutches! (Now people will really look at me weird haha) It happened when I fell on that Double Decker Bus and sprained both ankles, I whacked my knee too and turns out, it's worse than the ankles. Not sure how bad it is yet and if I'll be put in a cast, but I am just grateful for the medical coordinators! So many miracles really! It is very common to have to wait a long time for appointments here and I have been blessed multiple times now to see a doctor pretty soon, even the same day with the x-ray appointment!

Sunday: Got voted off the island...
- I am being transferred to Bristol! I will now be in the office as a Digital Finding Teaching Coordinator (DFTC), so I am one of the social media sisters now! I am going to miss Sister Olander so so much! And the island too! But I know that this is where I need to be! I will be close to doctors, have a car, and many more amazing things!

Thank you all for your prayers and kind messages! Love you all and Jesus loves you too!
