HIGH ON DRUGS AND HUGS

Y'all I don't even know what this week was! Total fever dream. For what I can remember it was a very strange one! We probably got hard core bashed every day haha! That means something really amazing is going to happen soon! Sadly my sickness continued this week and you know what I thought would make it better? Knocking on doors in the rain for a couple of hours every day this week... it didn't work. Even tried helping a member move in the rain and that did not work either. Haha Wednesday: OLIVIA >:( - Last week a guy named Richard with a really cool car asked us to come back the next week and so we did! His wife Olivia answered the door and invited us in! She was excited to have us there and was so kind! Then... all of a sudden... she switched. Olivia then bashed us for the next hour! She refused to let us leave! So eventually we just stood up and left. - Olivia was trying to convince us that everything we believed was wrong. Trying to help us "Find the real truth and the real Jesus." All it did was strengthen my testimony! Thanks Olivia! I know without a doubt in my mind that I have a loving Heavenly Father and His son is Jesus Christ. They are two separate beings but one in purpose. They love us all more than we could ever understand! Thursday-Friday: URGENCY - We had zone conference and another MLC with Elder Whiting of the seventy! Here are my main take aways: • We are entitled to receive personal revelation from the Holy Ghost • Worthiness is not being perfect, but striving to be more • God wants all of His children back • Christ could do this work on His own, but He lets us help so we can grow • We choose every second to receive the Holy Ghost or not • The Book of Mormon is for everyone and everyone can relate to it • Our Urgency needs to be rooted in our pure love for Christ and others. • Every minute matters Saturday Pt.1: TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT - We were tracting and this one guy said that we should talk to his brother. That was a mistake. At first I thought he was making fun of us, but it turns out that he was just high and hung over. He rolled a joint and was smoking it right in front of us. We were trying to share a message but he would interrupt us every 2 seconds either swearing, complaining about life, or telling me that I was gorgeous... I wasn't really flattered. But it was kinda funny sometimes! I guess I just attract the weird ones! Then the home boy got way too close and I was exceedingly uncomfortable! He leaned in and I thought he was going in for a kiss! Thank goodness it was just a hug, still gross tho. He hugged Sister Sanderson too and flipped off Sister Parkinson! Such a strange man. Saturday Pt.2: FILIPINOS=MIRACLES - You know who knows how to share the gospel? Filipinos. I love the members of this ward! There was a baptism for a couple of the members' sons and it was awesome! There were more nonmembers than members at the baptism! They invited their friends along and it was awesome! Our friend Renato came too! The baptism was so beautiful and the testimonies of the little boys being baptized were so stinking cute! Of course there was a party afterwards and we got to get to know the friends! We gave them a chapel tour and it turned into a Restoration lesson! We now might be teaching some of them! Let's go! Members bring miracles! Love y'all lots and Jesus loves you too!
