FAMILY REUNION IN THE FOREST!
I can't believe that it is the last week of the transfer and it is the end of October! Crazy! But here we are! Next week y'all will hear if I'm staying in the Miracle Land or not! Anyways! This week was so good! Teaching about 3 lessons a day!
Wednesday: WILD BOARS
- Best part of my week for sure! 110% I finally got to go on exchanges with Sister Olander in the Forest of Dean! (My trainer, aka my mission mum) It was the best day ever and definitely went by way too fast!
- The Forest is absolutely gorgeous! Especially with all of the fall colors! Sister Olander and I did all the missionary things, but we mainly laughed all day! It was so nice! (If y'all are ever stressed or overwhelmed, just find someone to laugh with!)
- We talked to this one guy about the Nature of God and another guy about astrology (I know... the things we end up talking about haha!) But it really made me appreciate all of the things that God created for me! From the single blade of grass to the whole universe! This world is really proof that there is a God!
- The Forest ward was having a bonfire activity and we got to go! Best part about the amazing day! We got to have smores! I did not know how much I would miss simple things like that, but I am grateful for the Forest wars for making me feel like I'm at home! Basically I just felt really loved by my Heavenly Father and those around me all day, especially from Sister Olander! Love her!
- Fun Fact: There are wild boars in the Forest of Dean. They are super rare to see, but guess what! I SAW ONE! It was dead and on the side of the road... but it still counts haha!
Friday: RED VS GREEN FLAGS
- We made a couple of more friends! Yes, the miracles just keep coming! But sometimes people we meet can be interesting so we really have to listen to the spirit!
- One of them is named Esther! She just moved to the UK 9 months ago and has been wanting her relationship with God back. Green flag! She is so cool and I am so excited to teach her!
- Petula (came to church last week) is officially a friend! She is very excited that she found a place where she feels safe and loved! Green flag!
- One friend... he is interesting... But! He wants to change his life to God! Just don't call me beautiful when we have lessons ok? Gives me the creeps. Definitely a red flag. Hey Elders I think we got a friend for ya! Haha!
Love and miss y'all! Remember to take your vitamins! And remember that Jesus loves you too!
